If a page doesn't display correctly in IE 8, try the compatibility button. The page will display as it would in IE 7.
Microsoft is distributing Internet Explorer 8 (IE 8) via Automatic Update in much the same way that they delivered Internet Explorer 7.
Please note that most of NIU's enterprise applications have not yet been tested with IE 8. ITS is in the process of testing to identify incompatibility issues.
To avoid potential problems an IE 8 Blocker Tookit, available from Microsoft, can be installed. This will prevent the IE 8 installation through Automatic Update.
Note: local administrator rights are required to install IE 8 Blocker, contact your LAN Administrator if you don't have this access.
